PEANUT BUTTER CEREAL TREATS – The Southern Lady Cooks

These peanut butter treats are so easy to make and are delicious! Great for any gathering.

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE

We are big fans of Rice Krispie treats, and these take those to the next level. If you are a fan of chocolate and peanut butter then you will want to make these too. The addition of brown sugar is excellent. These are also made in an 8X8, so they are perfect for just a few people. You could also double the recipe.

SWAPS & ADDITIONS

These are very versatile; you could easily switch out the semi-sweet chocolate chips for dark chocolate or white chocolate. If you are not a fan of pecans, you can use walnuts or leave the nuts out altogether. We make these with creamy peanut butter, but any would probably work.

These are stored in the refrigerator; however, it is best to let them sit out about 10 minutes before cutting.
